The Water Balloon Battle is a safe, versatile and competitive way to have fun all year round, indoors or out.
This unique game consists of three pieces: two launching stations and a filling station. The launching stations are placed approximately 30 feet apart from each other. The filling station is placed near the play area and connected to a standard hose. The participants fill a bucket of water balloons at the filling station. The balloons are then lobbed back and forth, trying to hit the opponent's shield. On cool days, sponges or splash balls can be used in place of the balloons.
Another way to enjoy this game is as a "target toss". In this version, the launch stations are placed side by side. The players lob balloons at any number of "targets" placed down range, competing for the highest score or most hits. Targets can include plastic wading pools, hula-hoops, baskets, trees, bushes or most any inanimate object.
The Balloon Battle can even be used indoors with foam type balls or other soft objects.
Suggested for participants 10 years of age to adult.
Dimensions: Game area should be a flat (preferably grassy) area with no obstructions or objects within 50' of the game area that could be damaged by the projectiles used. Playing area should be at least 20' wide and 60' long.
